Matrix, the movie, has a green hue to it. Why, you must ask? Well the movie itself takes place in a digital matrix and green is associated with coding. Futhermore, the green in the movie has a sickly feel to it, reflecting the overall situation in the movie.
Another movie that has a green hue to it is Maleficent. The character has horns and is mostly seen wearing black to show a sense power she has. The colours of her magic or aura express her moral behavior - green can be interpreted as 'wicked' whereas gold when her magic is harmless or playful.
